Naming Your Pet
I know we’ve discussed naming your pet in a previous blog post but I was thinking about the names of some of my former pets last night and it brought back memories. Orion was a beautiful orange cat who like his name suggest was a great hunter of mice and/or birds. Rowdy was a 100 pound Rottweiler/Chow mix and looked ferocious but was such a sweetie. Jazzy was a gorgeous Shepard/Chow mix and was always doing a little dance for attention.
In my childhood I had a cat named Scooter because she didn’t know how to run and simply scooted through the house. Cocoa was our dog when I was little. I don’t remember what type of dog she was but she was so sweet, loving and gentle.
I have had many pets and they have all touched my life more than I can describe. Their names can convey so much, a memory, a visual picture, etc. My current brood are the cats Killer, Kinki, Ciara, Frappachina, and Evil Z. Our dogs are Gidget, Lily, Rusty, Princess, Angel Baby, Maxwell, Chimi and Changa. On this fateful inauguration morning, my life is so much richer for the presence of these beloved critters.

Haha Momma! You do have an affection for the sugary food names… Just remember to keep in moderation.
